There are many different reasons for practicing yoga. Maybe you’d like to become more flexible, enhance your physical endurance, or simply improve your overall health. Perhaps you injured yourself and would like to get back to your full range of motion and strength. You may feel stressed and would like to use movement to find stillness in your mind. Or you’d like to create a deeper self-awareness and use your body to go inside.

Private Yoga in Manasquan, NJ

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced yogi, private yoga sessions are the optimal way to establish a solid relationship with your own body and breath. I work with clients who need to build strength and flexibility after an injury, corporate executives who want to learn practical ways to counter-act stress and the detriments of a seated (office) life, advanced yogis who wish to fine-tune the alignment of their postures, those who need to learn how to breathe properly, and anyone else who is interested in the benefits of a custom-made practice.

Group classes

Kripalu Yoga

A slow flowing alignment based yoga practice that allows you to practice at your own level of comfort and ability, while emphasizing breath awareness and mindfulness.

This is an all-levels class that will leave you feeling more connected to your body.

Tuesdays 4:30 – 5:45 pm

Sun Salutations

This class allows you to practice an understated flow of postures at a slow pace, building strength and endurance while cultivating mindfulness.

Intermediate level students will appreciate this invigorating yet grounding way to start the day.

Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 am

Yin Yoga

This passive practice of holding seated or supine postures for 3 – 5 minutes will greatly enhance flexibility. Space is created around the joints by gently pulling on the connective tissues, instead of stretching muscles.

This all-levels class has a strong meditative component and will leave you relaxed and renewed.
